Chiyaan Vikram’s Son Dhruv Dismisses False Rumours Of Actor Suffering Heart Attack, Reveals, ‘Appa Had Mild Chest Discomfort, He Is Fine Now’
Chiyaan Vikram’s son took to social media to give an update about his father’s health and revealed he suffered chest discomfort contrary to heart attack reports
Fans of South superstar Chiyaan Vikram were left worried after it was reported that the actor was rushed to Kauvery hospital in Chennai. Speculations were rife that Chiyaan was immediately taken to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack. The actor complained of chest discomfort ahead of the teaser launch of his highly-awaited film Ponniyin Selvan. Now, Chiyaan’s son Dhruv Vikram has given an update on his father’s health and clarified that he did not suffer a heart attack.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Dhruv dismissed the false rumours about Chiyaan’s health and revealed he is doing fine now. He also requested everyone to give their family privacy at this time. Dhruv Vikram wrote, “Dear fans and well-wishers, Appa had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He did not have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect. That being said, we request you to give our family the privacy we need at this time. Our Chiyaan is fine now. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a day. Chiyaan Vikram is likely to get discharged in a day. As per several media reports, Vikram suddenly complained of feeling uneasy before he was rushed to the Chennai hospital. Doctors reportedly did his angioplasty.
Meanwhile, all fans and well-wishers of Chiyaan Vikram can now heave a sigh of relief. Talking about 'Ponniyin Selvan’, the movie has been directed by Mani Ratnam and also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Prakash Raj. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 30, 2022.
